After a few weeks of the how and why of computing, I am
beginning to feel more comfortable with the programs and functions that we are
using in class. I do the readings and watch the videos that Professor Heap puts
up every week and I find them extremely helpful. They usually clarify any
questions that I may have had. During the past week we learned about the
history of computing machines. I found it very interesting to compare our
modern day technology to the very first computing machines that were invented.
This week we are beginning our Wikipedia project. I am a
little bit nervous for this project, as Wikipedia is a very popular website so
I don’t want to make any mistakes! However, I think it will be a very
interesting learning experience and I am excited to try it out.
Haha, yes it can be intimidating to be apart of such a well-known website, but it's also exciting. And something you might be able to brag about to your friends -winkwinknudgenudge- and there are many people who are just like you and I that contribute. No need to be a genius or anything C:
